I am putting my energy into empowering the next generation and their relationship with Mother Earth.
Each session with the youth will work to plant knowledge about their place on this earth and how to interact with their natural environment respectfully to build a lasting connection with the land. The groups will be as follows:
Seedlings
Ages 3-5 accompanied by a parent/guardian or grandparent to come out for a nature walk and learn about their surroundings while interacting with their family members and their natural environment.
Sprouts
Ages 6-9 (parental accompaniment)
Activities with youth on how to identify certain plants, make kid friendly tea, and elder teachings on respect for the land & land based learning.
Saplings
Ages 10-12 (parents optional but strongly encouraged)
Plant identification, elder teachings, using plants to create basic infusions, balms, salves, skin care products etc.
