The Northlands College board of directors announced Wednesday President and CEO Toby Greschner will be leaving the organization to pursue other interests.

The announcement was made in a media release this morning, which also named Shelley Young, the vice-president of finance and operations, as the interim president and CEO. The release stated the organization would like to thank Greschner for his seven years of service to the college, adding his contributions will be felt for years to come.

“Toby has done amazing things at the college,” Northlands College Acting-Chairperson Victor Fern said. “The creation of the Mine School and the successful transition of the NORTEP/NORPAC program to Northlands College, to name a couple.”
