Saskatoon police search for missing 18-month-old toddler

Jul 5, 2019 | 11:01 AM

Saskatoon police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing toddler.

Itzel Delreal-Daniels, an 18-month-old girl, was last seen at her mother’s home on Summers Place in the College Park neighbourhood around 4:20 p.m. Thursday, a police media release said.

She is travelling with her father, Juan Pablo Carmona-Real. Police don’t know where Carmona-Real is travelling, but they believe he’s fleeing to Alberta, or back home to Mexico in a grey four-door car, possibly a Honda. His licence plate isn’t known but a moose bobblehead figure sits on the front dashboard with the word “Canada” on it.

Itzel is described as indigenous, with short, curly, dark brown hair, wearing a black one-piece outfit with a skirt that has blue flowers on the skirt portion.

Carmona-Real, 36, is described as 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He wears prescription glasses and was last seen wearing shorts and brown shoes.

Saskatoon police are asking anyone with information on the location of Delreal-Daniels and Carmona-Real to call them at 306-975-8300 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police do not believe Delreal-Daniels is in any immediate danger, and therefore have not issued an Amber Alert.
