Accused bootleggers intercepted on flight

A call about two intoxicated passengers on a flight ended in bootlegging charges in an incident that happened in Wollaston Lake on Thursday.

RCMP found the two men had over two dozen bottles of whisky and vodka hidden under their clothes and in their luggage.

In total 18 standard 750 ml liquor bottles, eight large soda bottles, and one water bottle full of whisky and vodka were seized.

Wollaston Lake is a dry community.
