Conexus switches to appointments only for in-person assistance starting Monday
Conexus Credit Unions across Saskatchewan will be serving members in-person by appointment only starting Monday.
That’s according to Conexus CEO Eric Dillon, who said the best way for members to get assistance if they need to speak with someone is by dialing the credit union’s call centre at 1-800-667-7477. Members can use the call centre to do transactions like paying bills or moving money into other accounts.
“The health and provincial government officials asked everybody to do their part to maintain physical distancing,” Dillon said. “While we know that people have done a good job of doing banking different by using online or mobile or calling us, there’s a few things people still might need to come in for. We’re just trying to make sure we’re doing our very best to keep our members and our staff safe.”
Members are encouraged to book an appointment for anything that could be difficult to do by other means. For instance, an appointment could be booked to be issued a new card or if you forgot your personal identification number. Deposits and paying bills can also be done via online banking and there are a number of matters that can be completed using an ATM.
