La Ronge RCMP searching for missing man

UPDATE: La Ronge RCMP have reported as of 8:30 a.m. this morning Rodger Gordon Charles has been located.

La Ronge RCMP is requesting assistance from the public in locating a 53-year-old man.

According to a media release, Rodger Gordon Charles is described as being 5’10” with a medium build and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police noted family members have not heard from Charles since he made arrangements to travel May 9 to Hall Lake. Charles is described as being an experienced outdoorsman, but it is unusual for him to be out of contact with family for this length of time.

RCMP believe Charles was last seen May 21 in La Ronge. It is unknown where he travelled to next.
