Entry permit required to enter Lac La Ronge Provincial Park campgrounds

Jun 9, 2020 | 2:39 PM

Those making use of the Lac La Ronge Provincial Park (LLRPP) this summer will be required to purchase a park entry permit.

It’s the first year such a pass will be required to enter the LLRPP, which have typically been required to enter other parks across the province. Daily entry permits can be purchased for $10, weekly permits for $40 and an annual permit for $75.

“Saskatchewan provincial parks are four-season destinations,” an email from spokesperson Brooke Lochbaum stated. “Park entry fees allow for parks to be maintained year-round including roads, visitor reception centres, trails, etc.”

Park entry permits can be purchased online at the time of your campsite reservation or can be added to an existing reservation by calling a park official using the yellow phone or calling 1-855-737-7375 on a cellphone. They can also be purchased locally at the Lac La Ronge Visitor Centre in Air Ronge, as well as the Air Ronge and La Ronge Co-op Gas Bars.
