COVID-19 is an event that is both globally & locally, historic. No event in history has ever demonstrated the need for effective, community focused healthcare the way this pandemic has. Businesses are hurting, individuals are suffering unprecedented losses and our hospital and staff have never been under such pressure to perform in these life and death conditions.

We applaud the heroism of all our medical professionals & environmental services staff who have banded together to fight this disease on the front line. Our Foundation is grateful to those who have already reached out to us asking how they can Help The Vic.

Never before has community solidarity been needed so much, and never before has a gift to our hospital, big or small, had the potential to make such a tremendous impact for so many. Any gift, big or small made to our hospital’s GREATEST NEED, will help.

Donations will be used for everything from personal protection equipment for our front line staff, to blood pressure monitors, pain pumps and mechanical ventilators.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is asking for the public’s support and cooperation to contain the spread of the COVID-19 illness by following visiting restrictions now in place at all SHA facilities throughout Saskatchewan.

Visitors are NOT permitted at the Victoria Hospital, Herb Bassett Home or Pineview Terrace except for compassionate reasons. More information about these restrictions can be found here.
