Illegal marijuana grow operation located in Watson

Humboldt and Lanigan RCMP located an illegal marijuana grow operation last month in Watson.

On Jan. 18, RCMP responded to an alarm at a non-residential buildling on Railway Avenue and located the operation. An investigation revealed it was grown without a Health Canada license and in contravention of the Cannabis Act.

A search Warrant was executed on Jan. 30 and 424 plants of various maturity levels, as well as hydroponic equipment were removed from the building.

The investgiation is ongoing.
