Stanley Mission resident Melanie Charles is $100,000 richer after striking it big on a Crossword Tripler Zing scratch ticket.

“My body just felt so numb,” she said in a media release from Sask Lotteries issued Thursday. “I could not believe what I was seeing. I thought I must have scratched something wrong. When the cashier confirmed it was a $100,000 win, I was in shock.”

Charles purchased the ticket at the Amachewespimawin Co-op Gas Bar in Stanley Mission and she has a few plans for her winnings.

Charles would like to buy a Jeep and a quad, as well as opening a gift shop in the community where she can sell her beadwork.
