La Ronge RCMP seize cocaine and firearms

La Ronge RCMP seized firearms and cocaine on a trapline Aug. 5.

According to an RCMP news release, officers executed a search warrant at a location south of La Ronge off Molanosa Road. Police searched a camper and seized three firearms, ammunition, 30 grams of cocaine and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

As a result, Floyd Ratt, 33, and Mary Johnson, 28, who were present at the time, were arrested.

Ratt has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, unauthorized and unlicensed possession of a firearm and more than a dozen other firearm related charges.

Johnson is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, unauthorized and unlicensed possession of a firearm, and 11 other firearm related charges.
