La Ronge RCMP charge man for cocaine trafficking
Cocaine and cash were seized by La Ronge RCMP earlier this week.
A media release from the RCMP states as a result of an ongoing investigation, the La Ronge Detachment General Investigation Section, with the assistance of local officers, executed a search warrant Aug. 31 that resulted in the arrest of eight adults and one youth.
During the search, police seized cocaine, Canadian currency, scales, and electronics.
Police arrested 26-year-old Ronald Campbell of Buffalo Narrows, who has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000. Campbell was held in custody to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Sept. 2.
