La Ronge RCMP have made an arrest after multiple break-ins in the tri-community within the last week.

According to an RCMP media release, officers have been able to connect two break-and-enters to 35-year-old Dallas McKenzie of the La Ronge district. He’s accused of one break-in at the Industrial Park and another at the Northlands College campus in Air Ronge.

McKenzie was charged with two counts of break-and-enter to a business, four counts of breach of probation, one count of fail to appear in court, one count of mischief and one count of theft under $5,000. McKenzie was remanded to appear in La Ronge provincial court on Oct. 25.

The La Ronge RCMP continue to investigate at least two other break-ins at local businesses including a Lake Country Co-op location and Your Dollar Store With More in Air Ronge. No suspects have been identified in those cases.
