As a result of continued investigation by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, two people are charged in relation to the suspicious death of 32-year-old Eric Bouchard.

Bouchard was raised in Buffalo Narrows with his hometown being La Ronge and Stanley Mission.

Kurt Ratt, 20, and River Miller, 22, both from La Ronge are charged with first degree murder and assault.

They will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on May 19 at 9:30 a.m.

One person arrested was released without charges. These charges stem from the incident Tuesday in Bells Point where police responded to reports of shots being fired.
