UPDATE: Pelican Narrows RCMP searching for man considered dangerous

UPDATE: On June 3, RCMP notified the media that Roger Wesley Custer has been arrested without incident. Custer made his first court appearance this morning at 9:30 in Prince Albert Provincial Court via CCTV from Pelican Narrows.

Pelican Narrows RCMP is seeking assistance in finding a wanted man.

According to a media release, RCMP is actively working to locate and arrest 25-year-old Roger Wesley Custer on outstanding warrants for charges including assault with weapon, assault and robbery.

The release states an investigation determined Custer was in Pelican Narrows on May 31. Officers located and attempted to stop and arrest him but he ran away.

Further investigation determined Custer may be armed and is actively seeking a way to travel from Pelican Narrows. He has allegedly approached a residence and unsuccessfully tried to gain entry leaving the occupants unharmed.

Custer is described as approximately 5-9 and 190 lb. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Under Armour sweater and grey shorts with a white Ecko logo featuring a rhinoceros. He had socks on but no shoes.

RCMP note Custer may be armed and should be considered dangerous. If seen, do not approach him. If he approaches your residence, call 911 immediately.
