RCMP still searching for two people after La Ronge shooting

Jun 27, 2022 | 9:04 AM

Two people are still wanted by police in connection to an incident that prompted an emergency alert in the La Ronge area on June 19.

RCMP said shots were fired at police, hitting a vehicle’s windshield and radiator, prompting the alert. Since then, more than 17 people have been arrested in connection with the incident, though most have been released without charges.

On Wednesday, police arrested Terrance Daigneault at a business in Saskatoon. He’s facing a number of charges, including two counts of attempted murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

At the same time, police arrested Nikeyta Bradfield — charged with two counts of aiding Daigneault’s escape from police.

Celine Charles, 22, and 36-year-old Allan Sanderson are still at large and police have warrants out on both individuals in relation to the investigation.

Charles is described as five-feet-four-inches tall and 112 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has a rose tattoo on her left hand, a heart and flame tattoo on her left arm and “Charles” tattooed on her chest.

Sanderson can be described as being approximately five feet four inches tall and 134 pounds with a slender build, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing black shoes, black pants, and a black t-shirt with a white logo on the back.

Police do not know if the two are currently together or if they have access to a vehicle. Both are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

“They may be in the communities of La Ronge, Prince Albert or Saskatoon, but this is not confirmed. They are considered dangerous and the public should not approach them,” RCMP said in a release.

There will continue to be an increased police presence in the La Ronge area as the investigation continues.
