A power outage affecting areas of the tri-communities originally planned for today has been postponed until tomorrow.

The affected areas incudes the 100 block of Muriel Ross Crescent, the 200 to 300 block of Roderick Ross Street, the 300 block of David Ross Crescent, as well as the 100 block of Fleet Street and Bigstone Road.

The postponement is due to the cold weather that moved into the region overnight. According to Environment Canada, the temperature at noon in La Ronge was -26 C.
