Local fire department association develops house logo
The La Ronge and District Firefighters’ Association has developed a house logo they plan on featuring on shirts, mugs and other merchandise.
“Most fire departments do have their own house logo,” association president Darryenne Parada wrote in a statement to larongeNOW.
“It is a representation of our location, our team, our personality and our culture. It is a more specific representation of who we are and who we strive to be.”
The new house logo is of a bear holding an axe and halligan bar. It also includes feathers and other elements such as the medicine wheel colours in a maltese cross. The 701 written on the helmet stands for 701 Hildebrand Drive, the location of the La Ronge Regional Fire Department.
