Ice Wolves acquire McKay from Broncos

The La Ronge Ice Wolves have acquired a rookie forward in a trade with the Humboldt Broncos.

The team has landed Ty McKay in exchange for a Player Development Fee and a second-round draft pick in 2024.

McKay committed to the Broncos for this season after a successful campaign with the IHA U18 Prep Hockey Program. Last season, he recorded 27 points in 32 games.

In five games this season with Humboldt, McKay had two points.
