Charges stayed against one man in La Ronge drug bust

One of two people accused of trafficking in cocaine in La Ronge in 2021 has had his charges stayed.

The charges against Dahir Mahamed were stayed in November in La Ronge Provincial Court.

His co-accused, Mohamed Abukar Mohamud, age 24, has a bench warrant out for his arrest.

Both men are from Toronto and were charged after RCMP searched a home on the 500 Block of Elders Road.

Officers seized 81 grams of cocaine, cash and trafficking paraphernalia.
