Increased police presence in Deschambault Lake

Residents in Deschambault Lake are being advised to avoid areas where police are present and follow any direction provided by officers.

Saskatchewan RCMP have advised they are investigating an incident in the northern community and that this has resulted in an increased police presence.

One suspect has been taken into custody pending further investigation.

RCMP also stated they don’t believe there is any imminent risk to public safety.
