Co-op cardlocks back up and running in some Sask. communities

Jul 4, 2024 | 10:02 AM

Multiple Co-op locations are announcing that their cardlock services are back up and running.

Both Discovery Co-op out of the Battlefords and Lake Country Co-op (Prince Albert to Nipawin) have made posts in the last hour that their cardlocks are fully functional after four days of problems.

Federated Co-op announced a week ago that some services were compromised following a cyber-security incident.

Certain services were shut down as a precaution.

Yesterday, they said they were making progress and prioritizing filling grocery store shelves, also affected by the attack.

Co-op said the fuel supply at its retail gas bars has been relatively unaffected and customers can fill up at all those locations.
