Stanley Mission man drowns in Mountain Lake

The body of a 47-year-old man from Stanley Mission has been recovered from Mountain Lake.
That’s according to a Saskatchewan RCMP spokesperson, who said on Aug. 25, police received a report of a missing boater on Mountain Lake near Stanley Mission.
The following day, after a search by officers and local residents, the man’s body was discovered. His family has since been notified.
The Stanley Mission RCMP wish to thank all those who assisted in the search and they continue to investigate.
