CLCFN celebrates new CFS Safe Home
The Kanaweyiminan “Take care of us” CFS Safe Home is now a reality in Canoe Lake Cree First Nation.
Nearly 30 students had a part in the facitlity’s construction and they handed over the keys to the brand-new 1600 sq. ft., 4-bedroom bungalow on Friday.
The Grand Opening celebrated the venture that took three years to complete and was built in part by students of Canoe Lake Miksiw School (CLMS) working as part of the high school trades program that creates both development skills and creates pathways along with improving reserve housing.
