House sustains significant damage during weekend fire

A house fire, which occurred in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Fairchild subdivision, remains under investigation.

That’s according to La Ronge Regional Fire Department deputy-chief Jay Wood who led the investigation. He stated firefighters were called out at 3:53 p.m. and were on the scene for approximately four hours.

There were no injuries reported and the home sustained significant damage.

The fire remains under investigation at this time.
