
Alleged car jacker enters not guilty pleas
A Prince Albert man charged after multiple carjackings, is maintaining his innocence and has elected to be tried by judge alone at Court of King’s Bench.
Angus Heathen’s attendance was waived when his matters were discussed Friday morning at provincial court. Not guilty enters were entered by his lawyer Chris Koban who also confirmed the charges will next to be spoken at a preliminary inquiry hearing.
Both Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 have been set aside for the hearing which will provide the judge an opportunity to hear the Crown’s determine and make a decision on whether there’s enough to commit the case for trial.
