UPDATE: Highway 2 re-opened south of La Ronge

UPDATE: As of 1 p.m. the road is open.

Emergency personnel are currently responding to a semi rollover about five kilometers south of La Ronge.

According to the La Ronge Regional Fire Department, one lane is open for travel but motorists must obey fire crews and follow their directions closely. Delays are expected and there is no estimated time on fully reopening the highway.

The cause of the incident remains unclear and there is no update on any injuries.
