Teenage boy charged after stabbing at Montreal Lake Cree Nation

An altercation Saturday evening between a group of males at Montreal Lake Cree Nation, resulted in one person being transported to hospital by STARS for injuries described as serious in nature.

That’s according to information provided to paNOW by Saskatchewan RCMP.

A teenage boy has since been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He appeared Monday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court and was remanded to Wednesday for a possible bail hearing.

In addition to the above mentioned incident, the youth also has an outstanding charge from March 2 involving bear spray.
