Many events scheduled for the lead up to Christmas
With Christmas less than one month away, there are plenty of upcoming events to get into the holiday spirit.
On Nov. 29, the Lac La Ronge Indian Band will be hosting an event called Christmas at Kitsaki from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kitsaki Hall. Families will be able to make personalized Christmas ornaments, wreaths, and more.
The Town of La Ronge also has several upcoming events starting on Nov. 29 with holiday wreath making. It will be held at the curling lounge at the Mel Hegland Uniplex from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It is a free program, all supplies are included and it is for ages 12 and up.
A Community Christmas Party will be held Dec. 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mel Hegland Uniplex. It will include Christmas treats, face painting, sleigh rides and a craft table. A special guest will arrive at 5:45 p.m.
