La Ronge Chase the Ace draw growing in popularity
The fundraising coordinator for the new La Ronge and area long-term care facility is impressed by the growing support for the ongoing Chase the Ace draw.
“We are on Week 35 of our Chase the Ace draw, and we really started seeing momentum pick up after the beginning of November,” said Jacob Page.
“We are getting calls from basically all over the province having questions on how they can purchase and where they can purchase, and just to appreciate we are doing a draw and how well it is going.”
In total, 50 per cent of ticket sales go directly to purchase furnishings and equipment for the new long-term care centre expected to be largely completed by the end of this year. In addition, 30 per cent goes towards the progressive jackpot and 20 per cent is paid out to a weekly winner.
