Apr 7, 2026 | 3:05 PM
The Alberta Clipper is causing travel headaches in the northeast.
Travel is not recommended in the Melfort area due to heavy snow, poor visibility, slushy, drifting snow, and icy highway conditions.
Highways south, west, and north of Melfort are especially hard hit, according to the Highway Hotline.
The Environment and Climate Change Canada forecast indicates the Melfort area could see 15 to 25 cm of snow into tomorrow before the situation stabilizes.
