Ice Wolves start pre-season against Bombers

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League has released its schedule for the 2026/27 preseason. 

Teams will play between three and six exhibition games to gear up for the regular season campaign, doing so against fellow SJHL squads, as well as MJHL and AJHL clubs. 

The Ice Wolves will start their pre-season at home with a game against the Flin Flon Bombers on Sept. 7 before travelling to Flin Flon the next day to play the second of a home-and-home series at Whitney Forum.  

On Friday, Sept. 11, they start the second home-and-home series, taking on the Nipawin Hawks. The Friday game will be played at the arena on Big River First Nation with the Hawks as host.
