Ice Wolves trade for goaltender, Normand commits to U of A Augustana

The La Ronge Ice Wolves have made a trade for a goalie. La Ronge is acquiring 2006-born netminder Keagin Kelln from the Northern Manitoba Blizzard of the MJHL (Manitoba Junior Hockey League) in exchange for a player development fee.

Kelln has two full years of Junior A experience, split between the Blizzard and the Grand Prairie Storm of the AJHL (Alberta Junior Hockey League). Over 53 games, the Grande Prairie, Alta. native produced a 15-28-2 record.

In other Ice Wolves news, former player Zane Normand has committed to the University of Alberta Augustana.

The 21-year-old forward spent parts of three seasons in La Ronge, suiting up 97 times. Over that span, Normand registered 18 goals and 23 assists, good for 41 points.
