Power outage spreads across northern Saskatchewan 

A significant number of communities in the northern half of Saskatchewan are currently without power.  

The outage affecting over 13,000 customers spans from the Alberta to Manitoba borders, from north of Wollaston Lake and south almost to Prince Albert.

According to a SaskPower representative, the outage is linked to a transmission line that was tripped. Crews have been dispatched to find the source. No repair times have been provided.
