Northerners to be impacted by upcoming power outages

A number of northern communities will be affected by several upcoming planned power outages.  

The first outage will occur in Stanley Mission on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by the tri-communities, as well as Napatak, Potato Lake and Weyakwin on Friday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.  

Another planned power outage is expected on Sept. 27 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. affecting Grandmother’s Bay, La Ronge, Missinipe, Nemeiben Lake, Stanley Mission, Sucker River, and Wadin Bay. On that same day, there also be power outages in Hall Lake, Morin Lake, Sikachu Lake, Ramsey Bay, and Weyakwin from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
