Members of the tri-communities are welcomed to participate in a Truth and Reconcilation Honour Walk on Wednesday.
The walk corresponds with National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.
It will start at 11 a.m. at the Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) office, proceed along La Ronge Ave., and conclude at the downtown urban reserve.
Throughout the day at the urban reserve, the LLRIB’s Health Services Indian Residential School Program will be hosting several activities starting at 10 a.m., including lunch and supper. Activities will include information on school archives and finding your identity, as well as residential school and missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls stories.
