Sixty grams of crack cocaine, a quantity of hydro-morphine pills and a large amount of cash were seized by La Ronge RCMP following the execution of a search warrant.

That’s according to a media release, which stated the warrant was executed at a Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB) residence by La Ronge RCMP detachment members and the General Investigation Service. Seven adults and two children were located inside the residence and the children were entrusted to other family members. The adults were taken into custody and later released.

As a result, 41-year-old Tom Floyd Cook of the LLRIB was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime. Cook was scheduled to appear Thursday at La Ronge Provincial Court.
