La Ronge RCMP searching for missing Sucker River teen

UPDATE: As of 9:25 a.m., La Ronge RCMP have confirmed that Danica Charmaine Charles has been located safe.

La Ronge RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Danica Charmaine Charles.

According to an RCMP media release, officers believe Charles left her residence in Sucker River in the late afternoon of Aug. 11 and was last seen Aug. 13 in another residence in the community. Police have followed up on several tips leading to the search of multiple residences, but efforts have been unsuccessful so far. The release states RCMP and her family are concerned for her well-being.

Charles is described as a 17-year-old female with brown eyes and long, dark brown hair. RCMP have no photo to release to the media at this time.
