It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Jane Gidget Unger, on October 30, 2019, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Laura was born on November 2, 1961 in Brandon, Manitoba to Elspeth Fyall Coull and Henry Richard Kelley.  After the passing of her mother at the age of 9, Laura and her siblings were moved around, until Laura finally settled in Prince Albert.  Laura attended Carlton Comprehensive High School and later attended SIAST and completed her Diploma in Addictions Counselling.  Laura’s proudest achievement was raising her three children.  In recent years, Laura enjoyed spending time with and spoiling the loves of her life, her grandchildren Nyla and Caelan. Laura will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Brianna (Alexandra) and grandson Caelan.  Her son’s, Brandon (Stephanie) and Matthew (former partner Jolene) and granddaughter Nyla.  Her sister Kim and her brother Michael, her four nephews and three nieces.  She will also be missed by numerous close friends she was blessed with.  Laura was predeceased by her parents, Elspeth and Henry; her brother-in-law, Wayne Irvine, and sister-in-law Gail Layton.  We would like to thank Dr. Hammond and all the amazing nurses at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert.  Laura’s service will be held on Monday, 10:00 a.m., November 4, 2019 at River Park Funeral Home.  Please come and celebrate her life with us.
