John is survived by his children, Stan (Christina), Doris (Rene), Willard (Flora), Colin, Glen, Jeffery (Anne), Sheldon (Freda) Halkett; his grandchildren, Jennifer, William, Charlene, Dana, Jonas, Jason, Bianca (Thomas), Alexis, Ashley, Alysha, Azteca, Renelda, Willard Jr., Chad, Jeremy, James, Darryl, Delphine, Tyrone, Jeff, Elsie, Zacheus, Marcus, Roberta, Flora and Jozie; his 22 great-grandchildren; his special daughters, Irene Ratt, Betty Sanderson; his special son, Jonas Jr. III Halkett; his newest chapans that he adored, Asher James Roberts, Cole Charles, Jane Levallee; his godchildren, Larry Halkett and Lori Viney; his brothers, Thompson Halkett, Walter Halkett; his sister, Doris Morin (Brian). He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie Lillian Halkett; his sons, Jonas Gerry Halkett, Colin Halkett, Tommy Halkett, Van Halkett; his Parents, Flora Angelique Halkett, Archdeacon Charlie Amos Halkett; his daughter, Charlotte Halkett; his granddaughter, Della Star Johnson; his sister and brothers, Christian Forest, Mary Joinson, Glen Halkett. The Wake Service for James will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at Kitsaki Hall, in La Ronge, SK, the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at All Saints Anglican Church, in La Ronge, SK, Tom Sanderson, Edna Mirasty, James Eninew officiating. Interment to follow at Lac La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
