Norman Sedley McKenzie was born on Friday, December 4, 1942, in Brabant Lake, SK, and passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 76 years. Norman is survived by his loving family, his wife, Nora McKenzie (nee Charles); his children, Barb McLeod and children, Sylvia, Norman, David, Phillip, Garth, and Claudia. Sam McKenzie (Virginia) and children, Evan, Keith, and Samuel. Jackie McKenzie (Greg Kakakaway) and daughter, Jessica. Jean McKenzie (Mike Timm) and children, Betty and Lana. Ann Keshane (James) and their children, Naomi, Boyce, Ron, Annika, and Sonjiah. Jocelyn McKenzie (Stan) and son, Dale. Floyd McKenzie: his great-grandchildren, James, William, Regehr, Malachi, Trina, Xander; his brother, Gideon McKenzie (Amelia); his sisters, Hilda McKenzie, Sarah McKenzie, Lydia Hardlotte (Solomon), and Elizabeth Pete; his sister-in-law, Susan McKenzie; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Maggie (nee McLeod) McKenzie; his brothers in infancy, Floyd and Thomas; his sister in infancy, Sylvia McKenzie; his brothers, Roderick McKenzie and Charles McKenzie; his brother-in-law, Andy Pete; his nephews, Keith Hardlotte, Jacob McKenzie, Walter McKenzie; his niece, Mary McKenzie; 3 grandchildren in infancy, 2 twin boys, and great-granddaughter. Norman’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday April 20, 2019, at Historic Site Holy Trinity Anglican Church, in Stanley Mission, SK, Reverend Richard Custer and Tom Sanderson officiating. Interment to follow at Stanley Mission Cemetery.
