Carol “Calou” Violet Parenteau

September 20,1946- March 16,2019

Carol “Calou” Violet Parenteau (Nee: Ross), passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at the age of 72 years in The Nelson Care Home. Carol was born September 20th, 1946 in Prince Albert, SK to her parents: Ida and William Ross. Carol was married to Lysle Parenteau, April 10th, 1965, to this union they were blessed with three boys Curtis, Darryl and Bradley. Carol was employed with the Government of Saskatchewan for over 35 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed her family in every form, be it being active as a mother and grandmother. Friends and relatives will remember her for the meals and baking she always had ready. Carol’s greatest joy were her grandchildren. Carol will be sadly missed by her children: Curtis (Mary) Parenteau and Darryl (Rhonda) Parenteau; her five grandchildren: Holly (Ryan), Shelby (Stillman), Luke (Kayla), Nickolas (Lauren) and Joshua; her three great grandchildren: Tarra, Ryan (Piggy Puff) and Baby Michel; her siblings: Rudolph (Carol), Mary and Adeline (Carl) as well as numerous other friends and relatives. Carol was predeceased by her husband: Lysle; her son: Bradley; her granddaughter: Chanise; her siblings: Rosie, Donald, Alice, Mabel, Myrtle, Edna, Della and Allen; and her parents: William and Ida Ross. Vigil Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, March 19 at 7:00pm and a Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 20 at 10:00am both will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 4 Ave W, Prince Albert.
