Donald (Don) Robert McLeod

June 26,1961 – April 3, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don McLeod, much-loved father and husband, on April 3rd, 2019. Don passed away surrounded by his wife, children and parents at the Red Deer Hospital. Don was born in Prince Albert, SK and although he moved to Red Deer in 2002, he remained a loyal Roughriders fan. He loved camping, music and social gatherings but most of all, his family. Don was a life-long entrepreneur who ran many businesses including a sports store, Jet Ski rental and a restoration business. He was very active in the community, coaching his children’s sports teams including serving as the Red Deer Renegade’s President.
Survived by his loving wife, Virginia, his precious children, Conor (wife: Julia), Nikki and Ryan, his parents, Dale and Sylvia McLeod and his siblings, Barry McLeod, Keith McLeod and Laurie Nyberg. 
Funeral service will take place on Friday, April 12th, 2019 at 3pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 6 McMillan Avenue, RED DEER, AB.
