CLAYTON, Lynne Anne
December 6, 1944 – January 31. 2019
CLAYTON – Lynne Anne passed peacefully on the morning of January 31, 2019 with her husband and son at her side. Despite her deteriorating condition, she knew who she loved, and knew who loved her. With her many cherished memories intact, she leaves her memory to her loving husband Bill; son Darcy (Lewanna) and grandchildren Lennon and Lyla; niece Glenda Fairbairn (Mike) – their children Logan, Karson and Everley; nephew Doug Fairbairn – his children Craig, Justin and Weslee; the Fitton family, relatives and friends. Lynne was preceded by her parents Tillie and Frank Wickens, and her sister Kay Fitton. Lynne was born on December 6, 1944 at North Battleford, SK. Her parents relocated with her to the Nipawin area in 1949. Lynne completed high school there, excelling in athletics. She met Bill during the summer of 1964 and became engaged to him on February 26 of 1965, and they were married on June 5 of 1965. In Lynne’s working years, she finished secretarial school and served various law firms and establishments, ending her career managing the Prince Albert Food Bank for seventeen years. In later years and retirement, time spent at the cabin at Emma Lake was precious as was the vacation time away from home with Bill. This included being involved with the musical pursuits of her son Darcy, spending time with, and spoiling her grandchildren Lennon and Lyla. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK. Charitable Contributions in Lynne’s memory in lieu of other tributes may be made to the Prince Albert SPCA. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
