Gerald Jean-Baptiste Boyer was born on Monday, May 22, 1933, in St Louis, SK, and passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 85 years. Gerald is lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Lorraine Boyer (nee Schmitt); his children, David (Sharon) Boyer, Roxanne (Don) Boyer, Darren (Traci) Boyer, Marie (Alex) Joseyounen, Jimmy Tsannie, Stacey Ermine, Devon Ermine; his grandchildren, Alexander (Alice), Simon, Allan (Jeanine), Bobbi, Jasmine (Scott), Branden, Jessica (Ashleigh), Tyler (Stephanie), Larissa (Andrew), Maisyn (Robbie), Justin (Selina), Kenneth, Mitchel (Michelle), Keisha (Shae), Trinity, Nipin; his great-grandchildren, Lexxin, Jenessa, Jackson, Emily, Briella, Stetsyn, Skylor, Jostyn; his brothers, Ovide (Pauline) Boyer, Nelson; his brother-in-law, Charles Schmitt; his sisters-in-law, Gertie Boyer, Lettia Springer and Marj Schmitt and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonie & Jean Boyer; his sisters, Leontine and Valentine (Leonard) Boyer; his brother, Lionel Boyer; his children, Dennis Boyer, Stella Peters; his son-in-law, John Peters; his father and mother-in-law, Jean and Yvonne Schmitt; his brothers-in-law, Joe Schmitt, Louis Schmitt; his sisters-in-law, Katrina Schmitt and Leonette Schmitt. Gerald’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, January 14, 2019 at River Park Funeral Home. A special thank you to Dr. Elmer and the staff on the 6th floor of the Victoria Hospital.
