Elizabeth Joan Belliveau
Elizabeth Joan Belliveau (nee Attwell) passed away peacefully at the age of 74 years on December 5, 2018, in Prince Albert, SK.
Elizabeth was born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, on October 3, 1944, to parents Marchant and Lena Attwell. On October 11, 1960, in New Minas, Nova Scotia, Elizabeth married the love of her life Vincent Belliveau, and they enjoyed 58 years together, and to this union, she had two sons and three daughters. Elizabeth was a strong minded and proud military wife, she was stationed with her husband across Canada and overseas along with their five children, before finally settling in Prince Albert, Sk. Elizabeth was employed and enjoyed her work in Prince Albert working with disadvantaged children and adults. Elizabeth had a passion for celebrating holidays with family and she loved to cook huge meals for family and friends. She loved writing stories and poetry, nature hikes, knitting, and colouring with her grandchildren, which brought her much joy.
Elizabeth will forever be remembered and missed dearly by her husband Vincent and their children; Joseph Belliveau (Kelly) and their son Kyle, of Prince Albert, SK, Tom Belliveau (Debbie) and their children; Sjorden and Laiken Belliveau of Saskatoon, SK., Joyce Fremont (Terry) and their three daughters; Cheryl Mcleish (Duncan), Crystal Fremont, and Christina Fremont, of Nanton, Alberta, Nancy Elder (Wes) and their children; Ashley Harris and Andrew Harris, of Prince Albert, SK, Cindy Ethier (Dean) and their son, Michael Ethier, of Prince Albert, Sk.
Great Grandchildren: Austin Fremont, Caleb and Jacob McLeish, and Andrea, Helena, and James Hall.
Elizabeth loved to recall fond memories of her beloved military family, Larry and Sandra Mullins, and their children Sean Mullins and Laura Koenig of Calgary, Alberta and her dear friend, Marlene Crombie (Ken) and their children Stacy, Patricia, and Darryl.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert for their great care and compassion through this difficult time.
A private family memorial and prayer service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306-922-4729).
