Roland Noel Joseph Bremner “Buster” of Domremy, SK passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at the age of 90 years. Roland was born to Mary and Jean Bremner on January 29, 1928, in the first Wakaw Hospital beside the lake. The sixth child of eight, Buster was raised on a farm near Domremy and worked on the family farm until the age of twenty-six. Following this, he spent many years delivering gas to farmers and performing other roles for the Domremy Coop and the Prince Albert Coop. As an entrepreneur, Buster purchased and built hotels throughout Saskatchewan at Domremy, Leoville and Buffalo Narrows then later returned to his earlier occupation of farming. He was an avid sports fan who spent many hours watching and cheering for his favorite hockey team and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. This loving and lovable man will be greatly missed.
Buster is survived by his loving wife, Alice; two children, Debbie (Fred) and Holly; six grandchildren, Christopher (Julie), Jason (Patricia), Meagan (Joe), Riley, Jenai (Dustin), and Braden; nine great-grandchildren Logan, Hannah, Katherine, Jordan, Lake, Ali, James, Kendall, and Jesse, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his only begotten son, Doug Roland Joseph Bremner on October 16, 1999, a grandchild at birth, Derek Roy and by his parents, two sisters and five brothers.
At the request of Buster, a PRIVATE MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held.
