Shelley Hayduk

On October 8, 2018, after a long battle with cancer, Shelley went peacefully to be with dad, mom and Nappy in heaven. She was born in Prince Albert on June 8, 1963, and lived on the family farm in the Red Deer Hill area until the last five years, where she lived in Saskatoon with her brother, Pat.
Shelley had a soft spot in her heart for children and animals. She spent many years helping raise her numerous nieces and nephews. She was everyone’s special babysitter. Shelley had the ability to make the people around her feel loved.
Family was very important to Shelley. Until mom and dad’s passing, she never missed a day visiting them in the long-term care home. Our fondest memories of Shelley are gathering around the kitchen table and helping her with jigsaw puzzles. Her love for jigsaw puzzles brought the family together on many occasions. Her other hobbies included playing on her iPad, circle-a-word books, coloring books, and cooking. In her free time, Shelley enjoyed fishing and camping at Tobin Lake with her family and fishing friends, Brian and Margo. Shelley showed immense strength and courage through the final stages of her illness and always had a smile on her face while watching the Love Nature channel.
She has left to mourn her two brothers Patrick and Michael, and sisters Vickie Baldwin (Gayne) and Tanis Lewko (William); and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
Shelley is predeceased by her parents Edward and Stephanie Hayduk; an infant sister Colleen Hayduk; sister-in-law Julie Leier, and by her dog and favorite companion Nappy.
At the family’s request, a private service will be held with interment at Memorial Gardens.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s funeral Chapel (306-922-4729).
