Albert Wilchynski, beloved husband of Helen Wilchynski, passed away Saturday July 28th at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta, one month shy of his 93rd year.

Albert went to school at Hazel Lake, Saskatchewan, but left school early due to illness. He then farmed with his family near Yellow Creek. Later he joined his brother Edward as a mechanic in Kuroki. His next move was to a garage in Norquay and later to Edmonton where he worked for Healy Motors, during which time he spent some time in Alaska. In 1960, Albert moved to Saskatoon and became a licensed realtor and started his own real estate business. In 1991, after the 5 older children married and left home, Albert and Helen moved to Tweedsmuir, Saskatchewan, north of Prince Albert, near Christopher Lake, to accommodate the needs of their youngest son, Randy, who was handicapped.
Albert travelled with his family to International Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses from Vancouver to Montreal, enjoying the sights along the way as they continued right to the east coast. One memorable trip was with his three youngest sons to Disney Land in California. He continued to enjoy travel, once he was pried from his home, including a three week trip that included a week cruise in the Caribbean and a week in Puerto Rico when he was 87 years old. His final trip was to a 3-day convention in Saskatoon and visits to Prince Albert, Wakaw and Wadena to visit family and friends just two weeks before his passing.
Albert’s great life-long love was talking to people and teaching them about the Bible and Jehovah his God.
