Jordan Daniel Ballantyne “Nipichiskum” was born on Friday, September 26, 1975 in Saskatoon, SK and passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 42 years. Jordan is survived by his loving family: his mother, Frances (Suzzette) Merasty; his stepdad, Clifford Merasty; his godmother, Doreen Roy; his brothers, Clinton (Ashley), Brent and Lawrence (Betsy) Merasty; his aunties, Nancy Ballantyne, Angelique Clarke, Joan Thomas and Sarah Ballantyne; his uncles, Larry Clarke and John Roberts; and his cousins, Ann Margaret, Melinda, Joanne, Connie, Lorraine, Joe Jr., George, Victoria, Tina, Janet, Amanda, Rene & Bella, Tyler, Warren, Sheila, Rosalene, Morgan, Simon, Sylvia, Pauline, Robin, Robert, Morris, Roger, Karen, Fred Charles, Tina and Lottie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Daniel & Marie (nee Bear) Ballantyne; his cousins, Ronalda and Sophie Ballantyne; his uncles, Angus Ballantyne, Barry Clarke, Martin Ballantyne and Philip Ballantyne; and his aunties, Florence Cook, Gloria and Elizabeth. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at River Park Funeral Home in Prince Albert, SK, Frances Merasty officiating. Jordan’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church in Pelican Narrows, SK, Father Joseph Subhash and Frances Merasty officiating.
